The StringKing Mark 2V lacrosse head is already out selling the original head that StringKing released last year. The reason is simple - this version is slimmed down, sleeker, and the lines are better than the original. With 29 stringing holes, the professionals at StringKing, understand what it is to build better pockets through superior technology. These Mark 2V head is the first in a series of three new releases that are position specific and designed to optimize the best head shapes that come with the type of work you are getting done out on the field. The Mark 2V is really designed for work horse middies, alley dodge and shoot, as well as an all-purpose advancing youth head. The StringKing Mark 2V lacrosse head is available unstrung or you can get it pre-strung by StringKing themselves with a mid-pocket in 3X or 3S mesh. Here is how this lacrosse head fits the bill, in all three aspects. First, the work horse, between the lines, ground ball machine. So StringKing swept the curve and angle of the head even more dramatically that most heads. This makes scooping up ground balls a dream. The mid-pocket setups just eat up the rock once you get it in your head. Control and depth let you cradle out of trouble and maintain composure without having to worry about ball rattle. Split and get those hands free fellas, and then let it fly with confidence. Some of the best professionals in the game (like Matt Gibson) have switched over to these heads for the rips and accuracy they deliver. Third, the youth player. You guys need all the help you can get as you develop your game. Deep mid-pockets that also let you pass with accuracy. You also need the best handle and feel you can get on the ball as you start to maneuver in traffic. The Mark 2V gives advancing youth players all of these aspects as well as let’s them start to unleash some more powerful shots with better velocity. This head is not soooo stiff that youth players cannot get the benefits of a little head flex on their shots. The pocket shape is great for ground balls and two handed power cradling as we had mentioned before, which is a staple of fundamental lacrosse that any coach would be happy to see you start developing. Basically, the guys at StringKing came up with a better mousetrap. The Mark 2V will not break the bank, can be used by elite high school and collegiate guys, and also serves as the perfect upgrade for youth players who are ready to start stepping up their game. Make sure to get some quality mesh in these heads fellas - they deserve it! For younger players stick with the StringKing 3x and have one of our Pro's string it up for you. For more advanced it is really a matter of preference but if you want more whip get the StringKing 3S and let our Pro's string it up for you. You can also get it pre-strung by StringKing themselves with a mid-pocket in 3X or 3S mesh. Keep up to date on our new product reviews.
