Too often, young american military men and and women come back from foreign wars with life-changing wounds. As we carry on with our lives, they struggle for the rest of theirs. To help ease that struggle, the Fairfield Ludlowe High School boys lacrosse program hosted the 11th Annual Sticks for Soldiers Thanksgiving Lacrosse Classic on Saturday, November 26th, 2016. Over the last decade of its existence, the Sticks for Soldiers campaign has raided more than $575,000 that has beed donated locally to wounded servicemen and their families. Lax.com was on scene for the event where military veterans Corporal Vincent Mannion-Brodeur and Sergeant Ryan Scott Flemin were honored, as well as to catch some great fall lacrosse action.
