In the battle of #1 vs #2 in Fairfield County, the Darien Blue Wave boys lacrosse team took on its biggest rival New Canaan to come out the regular season. After the Wave jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, the Rams mounted a huge second half comeback, eventually taking a 9-8 lead. After tying the game late, freshman Brady Pokorny scored off a feed from senior captain Jamison Moore with 1:19 remaining to give Darlin a 10-9 win.
