The University of North Carolina and Ohio State men's lacrosse teams got together for their annual fall match-up. Each year they play in the "Thumbs Up" Scrimmage in support of the Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Fund at the Ohio State University athletic program. The Breschi scholarship fund honors an Ohio State player each year and the scholarship honors the memory of UNC head coach Joe Breschi's son, Michael, who passed in 2004 while Breschi was the head coach of the Buckeyes.
