In match up featuring two of upstate New Yorks top collegiate programs, the Cornell University Big Red Men's lacrosse team traveled to Hamilton, NY to take on the Colgate Raiders. It was the season opener for the Big Red while Colglate looked to remain undefeated on the young season. Led by Griffin Brown, who scored a career-high six goals, the Raiders defeated Cornell 14-11, their first home win over the Big Red since 1964 and first win against Cornell in any fashion since 1997.
