The Charles Street Rivalry. What once was just another game on the schedule for two of Baltimore's most prestigious universities has now grown into one of the best college lacrosse rivalries in Division One. For Johns Hopkins, the rivalry against Loyola is one defined by the schools proximity to one another and for Loyola, it signifies the schools rise to prominence in the late 1980's and early 90's. Before their latest match, Lax.com goes into the rivalries background with former Loyola alums Jaime Hanford and Stevenson coach Paul Cantabene, as well as former JHU standout Patrick Russell. We also stopped in with ECD Lacrosse co-founder Greg Kenneally to get his thoughts on the match up before heading to Ridley Athletic Complex to catch all the games highlights.
